No. Version 3.1 includes a transparent local semantic demo. It expands supported concepts and scores visible evidence without calling a hosted AI model.
Can the website install it automatically?
Not for a private extension. Chrome blocks silent installation from ordinary websites. Download the ZIP and use Chrome’s official Load unpacked option, or publish the extension to the Chrome Web Store for a one-click store install.
What Facebook data does it collect?
Only Group and Page details visible to the Facebook account already signed in to Chrome. It does not collect member or follower lists and does not bypass private access.
Why must the research tab stay visible?
Facebook can pause lazy-loading in inactive tabs. Keeping the research tab visible helps results and accessible details load reliably.
Is UniSocial affiliated with Meta?
No. UniSocial is an independent research utility by UnicodeIT and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc.
